I worked with Ken Coho in Altoona from
1973 to 1977. He was a Construction Supervisor at the Beale Avenue Work Center of Bell Telephone. Good guy - straight
shooter - A Marine!

A recent story about Al Fosbenner .
. . I was working at a school in Fishtown last week, and as I drove into Fishtown, I thought about Al, and some of the stories
he told about growing up there. When I came out to leave, the entire block was parked completely shut. I stood
on the steps of the school and laughed out loud. I wondered if Al was listening, enjoying this, as I'm sure he would.
I couldn't even get my car up the sidewalk to get away - I was trapped in Fishtown! All the cars had funeral flags on
them, so I thought I might as well go to the funeral, so I did. It was at St. Laurentius. Very beautiful inside,
and a beautiful funeral Mass as well. I prayed for Al and his family, and I think he was probably looking on.
I even stopped in the Fishtown Market a block away in honor of Al - and drove by Burne's Tavern, where he took me occasionally.
Bye Al . . . Ken 8/14/2011

If you have not seen the USMC Drum & Bugle Corps perform with the USMC Silent Drill Platoon - you are missing the performance of a lifetime - go to the Sunset Parade at the Iwo Jima Memorial in Arlington - you need to go!
