"Cass" Nichols Ernest "Ernie" Bonnell (Oct 1906)-(Jan 1982(?) lived on a small farm on South Main Street, Jersey Shore PA and worked at Jersey Shore Steele in Avis, PA as a crane operator.  Ernie married Kathryn M. "Cass" Nichols (?)-(?); she is buried in the Jersey Shore Cemetery.  Ernie and Cass had three children: 1. Loretta Bonnell 2. Barbara Bonnell 3. DONNA RAE BONNELL Loretta "Retta" Bonnell (?)-(?); she is buried in the Jersey Shore Cemetery Retta married William Hilling of Collomsville PA - Children: 1. Crystal 2. Curt Barbara "Bobbi" Bonnell; married William Braucht of Jersey Shore PA - Children: 1. Richelle "Shelly" Braucht; married Tony Turner        a. Ian Turner        b. Emily Turner        c.        d. 2. Craig W. Braucht; married Barbara        a. Z... 3. Eric Braucht; married ?        a. DONNA RAE BONNELL b.1943; married Kenneth R. Poorman of Castanea PA on June 30, 1961 at United Methodist Church in Antes Fort PA.  Ken was born 1942.  Ken and Donna Rae Bonnell Poorman had four children: 1. Kenneth Allen Poorman 2. Randall Clay Poorman 3. Scott Derek Poorman 4. John Richard Poorman     (died a week after birth still in hosp)

Spence Kraybill An old friend of the family, Spencer L. Kraybill, wrote "Pennsylvania's Pine Creek Valley and Pioneer Families" which contains a lot of info on the Bonnell family.  I first met Spence in 1960 in Jersey Shore, PA.  He was a plumber at the Lewisburg Federal Pennitentary, and subsequently started a plumbing business in Northern Virginia.  I lost track of him after that, but apparently he later moved up Pine Creek.  Steve Bonnell put the Bonnell info on his website at http://www.kbsb.com/kraybill/.
