WILLIAMSPORT PA - Industrial Management Club Concert . . .

This 1970 concert for the Industrial Management Club of the West Branch Valley was held at the Williamsport Consistory Auditorium. The musicians were Carl Henke, Organ; Steve Poorman, Organ; Ken Poorman, Organ; Mike Romaneski, Drums; and Tom Bower, Guitar. Master of Ceremonies was DJ Lee (Tomcat) Moore.

LOCK HAVEN PA - Lock Haven YMCA Benefit Concert . . .

This 1970 concert for the Lock Haven Y.M.C.A. was held at the Price Auditorium of Lock Haven State College. The musicians were Carl Henke, Steve Poorman, Ken Poorman, Mike Romaneski and Tom Bower. MC was Lee Moore. and the concert was produces by Nat Barrett of Mechanicsburg, PA.

ELIZABETHTOWN PA - Elizabethtown College Chapter of Circle K Concert . . .

This concert for the Elizabethtown College Chapter of Circle K was held at the Elizabethtown Area High School Auditorium to benefit the State Hospital for Crippled Children for recreation equipment. A second concert in Elizabethtown was held at The Masonic Home.

BELLEFONTE - WILLIAMSPORT - JERSEY SHORE PA - Lock Haven area concert series . . .

The Poorman-Henke concerts in the Lock Haven area were in Bellefonte, Williamsport and Jersey Shore:
BELLEFONTE PA - The Bellefonte concert was sponsored by The Bellefonte Area Hospital Auxiliary of the Centre Community Hospital, and proceeds were used for the Willowbrook Unit of the hospital system. Musicians were Cark Henke, Steve Poorman, Ken Poorman and Mikchael Ronaneski. The MC was Mac McCulley of WCMB Radio in Harrisburg. The concert was held in the Bellefonte Area Junior High School Auditorium.
WILLIAMSPORT PA - The Williamsport concert was sponsored by the Williamsport Area Indstrial Management Club for benefit of the Williamsport YMCA. The concert was held at the Williamsport Consistory Auditorium.
JERSEY SHORE PA - The Jersey Shore concert was sponsored by the Jersey Shore Area Education Association for the benefit of the Scholarship Fund. The concert was held at the Jersey Shore Senior High School Auditorium.

Now here is a surprise for me . . . as I was going through my old scrap book of the Steve Poorman concerts, I found a reservation tent placard from The Frigate in Harrisburg PA signed on the inside by Buddy Rich on 1 October 1971. I remember my wife going up to the bandstand to get Buddy's autograph on it. That was a great gig as I remember . . . how could it not be. Hey, this is funny . . . today I found Buddy Rich's autograph in one of my scrapbooks, and tonight he was the subject of a Jeopary tv show question! Karma? Ha.
