RENOVO PA PARKS - The Hall-Wertz Cemetery is located in Noyes Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania, about two (2) miles south of South Renovo on Route 144 - take Barney's Run Road off of Route 144 South near the Jesse Hall State Forest Picnic Area . . . (4 Wheel Drive Recommended-you might have to walk up-Good luck!)

Now here's something neat, 2013: Mary Ann Kennis told me that Tristan Schelb of Renovo is restoring the Hall-Wertz family cemetery in Hall's Run as a project to become an Eagle Scout. His project includes installing a flagpole at the cemetery. When I was a kid, I went with my parents at least once year to rake up the leaves and weed te cemetery. So when I saw a photo of Tristan up there raking a sea of leaves off the cemetery, it really took me back to many fond memories . . . like 60 years ago! Wow! I can't rake leaves anymore, so i really appreciate his good work. My grandparents, parents and two sons are buried there. I can't wait for our family reunion this August at the Jesse Hall State Forest Picnic Area so I can see it. Thanks very much to Tristin for this important project!
